Jacksboro, Texas
It was very important to Jerry that he kick off his book tour in his hometown.
More than 200 books were sold, and the signing went on for three and a half hours.
All of the profits were donated to the library.
Also on hand was Monroe Henderson (below) who played with Jerry on the Wichita Falls Stars in the summer of 1960.

The event was a huge success, and Jerry was pleased to learn that the amount donated was just over $2,700.
It is a real tribute to how much the people of Jacksboro care about the library.
Saturday April 10th .
Jerry threw out the first pitch of the season for the Jacksboro Little League.

He had enjoyed 21 years of coaching the local children.

Saturday April 17th.
Jerry Craft and Kathleen Sullivan were featured at an Author's Book Signing at the Books-A-Million book store in Wichita Falls.

Also on hand was Clarence Myles, who played on the Stars along with Jerry.
Sunday April 18th.
Jerry and other former players from various Negro League teams were honored at the Dell Diamond, home of the Round Rock Express.

At the luncheon, they met and shared stories and memories.

All of the gentlemen participated in an autograph session during the game.
